Platinum Care Services was founded in anticipation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) whose roll out began in 2013. Already working in the disability sector, the Company Directors leveraged their experience and knowledge of the needs of those with disabilities. The founders of Platinum Care Services welcomed NDIS because it put people with a disability first, empowering them to make informed choices about where they would get their care and what type of care they needed. The team saw an opportunity to offer a personalised service. In forming Platinum Care Services, the Company Directors wanted to use their experience in disability care to create a new standard that would start in Queensland, but become Australia-wide. It would be based on the principle that the support and services that people with disabilities need should be as individual as they are.
Tracey wants to see people with a disability achieve extraordinary things. She has a Certificate IV in Disabilities and 23 years experience in Dental nursing covering various specialist fields.
Tracey’s strengths involve caring for people with disabilities through facilitating community care and inclusion, social groups, individual support, assisted living support for clients in group housing and support of clients on their holidays away.
Kevin is passionate about improving the quality of life of people with disabilities. He has over 15 years experience working in the disability sector and has a Certificate IV in Disabilities.
He has worked in both the private sector caring for people with disabilities, and for Disability Services Queensland (DSQ).
We provide personal and professional services that improve the quality of life of people with disabilities by enhancing independence and facilitating social and community participation.
We strive to involve family members, loved ones and carers on the journey to ensure that our services take into consideration, every aspect of a person’s daily life.
